Best Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headset

Every major brand claims they have the best noise canceling bluetooth headset. They're duking it out hard and we get to benefit. With Jawbone, the NoiseAssassin technology seems hit or miss. It seems to work for some, but others just despise it, favoring either BlueAnt or Plantronics.

No surprise, but most of these headsets appear on our list of best bluetooth headset reviews as well. Putting most other factors aside to favor noise canceling ability, here are my favorite noise canceling headsets.

1. Zelher P20 Noise-Canceling Bluetooth Headset

Okay, it's not your standard, slick and stylish bluetooth headset. But if you want the top in noise-cancelation this is a very good choice. It's bulky appearance will probably leave this to most people who want to use it in an office, cubicle, or even a car.

In fact, this headset is loved by truck drivers, and they can confidently say that the noise cancelation feature on this headset is superb. So if your noise level even reaches such levels, this headset will cover you and then some.

Pair that with 20 hours of talk time, clear sound, and a working range of 30 feet and you have a very tough to beat headset.

2. Plantronics Voyager PRO Bluetooth Headset

Some may shun it for its design, or slightly larger size, but if noise canceling is your main priority, don't overlook the Voyager PRO. This is easily one of the top headsets in terms of noise canceling abilities. One of the things that makes the noise canceling qualities on this headset is that it has an adjustable boom.

The dual mics on this work to pick up your voice only, canceling out the surrounding sound. It has a physical screen system built in to block out wind noise as well.

Even if your voice may be on the softer side, in a noise area, the features on this headset have you covered. If your voice is not so soft, and you don't need such a good wind and noise cancelation, check out the Plantronics Discovery 975.

Also, since its size is a bit larger, it probably isn't the best choice if you know you have really small ears. But for the majority of the population, it is so comfortable you will hardly remember it's on your ear and it is a great choice for noise canceling.

3. Plantronics Discovery 975

Okay, this list is "Plantronics" heavy, but you know what, their technology works. This is another one of their headsets with the company's AudioIQ2 and WindSmart features that make call quality and noise reduction superb.

This one is actually an update to the Discovery 925, with improved sound quality and an improved charging/carrying case.

4. Blueant Q2 Bluetooth Headset

One of the latest additions to BlueAnt's line is the Q2 headset. This is a top choice for noise canceling and call quality. It has an excellent speaker and microphone for this purpose. Users love it, and their callers only have good things to say about the sound quality.
